My name is Rainer Stoehr, I was born in Munich 1983 on the 17th of May. Before I was 6 years old my childhood was
ordinary.
I went to the kindergarten, have learned to ski and have started to play soccer. Then with 6 years however, I got
4 strokes
and I had to stay for almost a year in hospital because nobody could imagine what was happen and what was going
on.
Because of this strokes, I had lost the most of my physical skills. I could not walk any more, I could not sit any
more,
I could not move my legs or arms or my head any more, I could not speak any more. So when I came from the
hospital
I was physically disabled and need a wheelchair. Since then I have managed, in more then ten years, with the help
of
my family and the
Institutes for the Achievement of Human
Potential
to learn to move my legs, arms and head.
In the 1990th I got lessons from a teacher of the neighborhood, she
taught me at home.
In the 2000th I also got help
from her husband and my family in the subjects history, economy, mathematics,
physics, chemistry and biology.
So I was able to get my school- graduation and later with my sense of duty and my tenacity to get, in the year of
2018,
the Bachelor in computer science on the
University of Applied
Sciences in Munich.
Today I live at the East End of Munich
in a home care community, which belongs to the
Verein Glueckliches Haus. Here I live
together with
6 other handicaped housemates and people for the care who are 24 hours a day available.
In this community I create the menus and order via online the groceries for
every week, additional I make some other online- orders for the community.
